Fingers Crossed

2010 bay gelding by Bach ex Awesome Miracle

Half-brother to high-class staying chaser Shotgun Paddy and from the family of Patricksnineteenth. Won over hurdles as a 4.y.o. but then grew and seemed to lose his way and have little niggly problems for eighteen months.

Ran well when on his debut over fences at Huntingdon in December when in need of the race and getting tired over two-and-a-half miles. He was then kicked at the start at Leicester and seemed ‘phased’ by it when running no sort of race, despite jumping well but a week later made the running until being caught at the last, when finishing second at Ludlow on 19th January.

Probably wants decent rather than heavy ground and should really go on from here. He is now matured, taking his racing very well and ready to scale the heights from his rating of 103 which gives him plenty of scope for success.

To be syndicated into 10 shares.

£1,500 +VAT per share to include purchase of a 1/10th share and ALL COSTS until end of June 2017.

Hopefully at the end of June, this project will have been enough of a success that all shareholders will wish to continue their ownership, which will then mean just paying 10% of future monthly bills (about £200 per month when the horse is in full training and less when he is not). Otherwise the horse can go to the sales and the first and most opportune sale.

This represents a great and good-value opportunity to get involved with a ready-made novice chaser.
