We have 10 turn-out paddocks which we try to keep occupied for as long as possible except during the most inclement of English weather. We believe that all horses benefit from even a hour or two out at grass and that the less time spent in their stables, the better.

Obviously not every horse can get out every day and some need the benefit more than others at certain times, but over the month all horses will get plenty of time in their fresh and natural environment. We find that horses that could possibly be susceptible to ‘tie-ing up’ or ‘set-fast’, benefit tremendously from being turned out for a hour or so before exercise, as well as after. We also have six expansive paddocks that are used for summer grazing or for the horses that are ‘wintering-out’.
